Life's Dreams #2.

When I was a boy I would get "Falling" dreams and wake up thinking I'd fallen out of bed to the floor, which I believe are quite common, here are two more recent dreams that I'm still puzzled about whether or not they have "Meaning" to?

1. In one dream that I remember repeated a visual image of a City in devastation, I'm with a small group running through streets and buildings, then an open space towards a bridge looking structurally like the Sydney Bridge but smaller, I climb the "Arc" of the bridge as the middle has broken away, only I can't get a grip due to the oily/greasy surface, the others are waiting for me to go forward, then a armed crowd come rushing at us.... I always awake a this point.

2. In the second dream, I am in a small village, at a "T" junction, on one side of the street are some shops, houses, and a small Pub/Hotel, the other side is a sign post to the road going uphill, away from the village High Street alongside an open field, there's a small group of people and a leader discussing something together, looking around, towards the hill, the field and the village, at sometime they are also outside the Hotel. I find myself floating slowly upwards, along sides the wall of the Hotel, getting higher, as I'm reaching the roof guttering I try putting my leg out to reach a foot hold on the roof ledge, but it's just too far!
The story gets blurred from this point.

So any idea? What does it mean? ... if anything!

Both dreams make me think about how we are all often overwhelmed and feel insignificant - sometimes things are out of reach - beyond our control - its a scary feeling - a truly "human" phenomenon .. why we need to find hope in God's strength when we are weak - reminds me of the "Footprints" poem.

Hey dad - looks like you got busy too...I'm trying to get back to my blog - I have tons of ideas for writing but little time these days. I'm pulling a double shift with Jon working & taking night classes. He is really loving the courses but I'm sure he'll be glad to get a break soon.

Love to all - Amanda
